Henry Hebel has over twenty years of experience in biologics development, production and regulatory compliance in major global markets. Mr. Hebel has held senior leadership positions at small startups and large multinational organizations such as Terapio Corp, Qiagen GMBH, GeneMedicine and Tanox.  Additionally, Mr Hebel founded and served as Chief Operating Officer of VGXI Inc., where he successfully obtained the world’s first commercial gene therapy medical device combination product approval. Mr. Hebel holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University.

More than twenty-five years experience at early stage Biotechnology companies encompassing both product/process development work and entrepreneurial business development work. Mr. Hebel now acts as a consultant to early stage companies developing and commercializing various biotechnology products based on cutting edge technologies.

Seasoned senior executive with experience in clinical research, clinical trials operations, and outsourcing. Have specific knowledge of CRO functional and operational delivery systems. Introduced rigorous process analysis tools and performance metrics as methods to improve data quality, to streamline back-end delivery systems and to maximize financial performance. Have been involved in contract research for over 25 years.

Experienced head of operations holding the position for several GMP biologics manufacturing firms (Lonza Viral Based Therapeutics, Vivante GMP Solutions, Introgen Therapeutics…). Responsible for manufacturing process development for several drugs including viral based and antibody based biologics through pre-clinical and clinical testing and finally on to commercial production.
